- Players do not have to try out for AAA if they do not want to. Please register for the AA tryout in your division if you want your player to go straight to AA.
- *All Okotoks players must register with OMHA prior to registering with OOAA. All signed AA players must register with OMHA. The only exception is signed AAA players.
- Committed players are encouraged to register/pay for main camp. If they choose not to attend, they are required to register and attend the Green and White game. The fee is $200.00.
- Please only register for your player's FIRST tryout. If they are released, you will register for their second tryout at that time.

U17AAA/U18AAA Players that are invited to main camp from the open tryout will receive a reduce fee of $250.00 for the main camp registration)
GST will be added to where applicable (any camps tryouts U16AA and above)
Team Formation Fee Breakdown (If selected past the Green and White Game)
The fees vary between each team based on how many ice times the teams receive before final team formation.
Items that are covered under team formation fees are:
- All practices
- Exhibition games
- Transportation if required
- Tournament entry fees
- Trainer fees
- Referees if required, are included
- Any additional oversized roster events

| AJHL Main Camp or WHL Prospects Camp attendees: Any player that is attending an AJHL team main camp or a WHL prospects camp during the SAME time as the OPEN U17AAA/U18AAA tryout must still register and pay for this tryout. Please email the division director your player's camp schedule, and a refund will be issued to you at that time. Players attending AJHL and WHL camps still need to be registered in order to track them, and for the coaches to know that they may still report to main camp. | The U18AAA/U17AAA Coaching staff will be inviting select players from the OPEN tryout to register for the Main tryout.

OOAA U18AA Tryouts
Okotoks 2010 born players can choose to register for the U18AA tryout if they want to try for the U18AA team.
If 2010's are not interested in trying out for U18AA, they can skip this tryout and register for U16AA as their first tryout (Foothills, High Country, and Lethbridge 2010 born players can ONLY register for the U16AA tryout in Okotoks)
U18AA: Sept 12,14,16
Only Okotoks 2008/2009/2010 players are eligible to register for the U18AA tryouts
- The cost of the tryouts is $350.00 (Includes a minimum 3 skates, there will be a green and white game this season for the players that are invited after the first 3 skates. Jersey provided, referees, Athletic Trainers)
After the 3 skates there will be potential releases:
- 2008/2009/2010 born players that are released will participate in the OMHA travel evaluations that you registered for.

Please register for the U15AAA Open/Last Chance skates if you have not been invited to the main camp tryout by the coach.
The U15AAA Coaching staff will be inviting select players from the OPEN tryout to register for the Main tryout.
Please DO NOT register for Main camp unless your player has received an invite from the Head Coach following the 2 last chance tryout games. Invites to main camp will be sent out by email.
If your player does not receive an invite at the conclusion of the U15AAA Open tryout, please register for U15AA with your designated association.

U15AAA Main Camp Tryout:

Dates: August 24,25, 26
Please register for the U15AAA Main tryout camp if your player has been signed or invited by the Head Coach. If you have not received an invite from the Head Coach please refer to the last chance skate criteria.
At the conclusion of the 3 Main Camp tryout games, players will either be released to U15AA, or be invited to the Green and White game.
The green and white game is August 27th.
| At the conclusion of the green and white game, players will be either invited to register for the oversized roster, or released to U15AA. Released players will be required to register for the U15AA tryout with your designated association at that time.
Players selected to the oversized tournament roster will be required to register via RAMP for the team formation fees. These fees cover the cost of all ice time including 3 practices and tournament games prior to the final roster being selected. |

Draw Zone:
The U15AA draw zone is for Okotoks Minor Hockey players only.
OMHA registration and fees- Okotoks players before you can register for OOAA camps and tryouts you must first register and pay your fees with OMHA U15 Mixed.
Players that are successful in making the U15AA roster will have their OMHA registration fees minus the OMHA/OOAA hold back transferred to the team.
Players that are successful in making the U15AAA roster will have their OMHA registration fees refunded and the team will be invoiced by OMHA and OOAA for the team fees.
The reason for the different way of paying the fees is because U15AA has only Okotoks players and U15AAA is a draw zone team that does not have only Okotoks players. The team fees are the same for AA as they are for AAA.
OOAA 2011 Checking clinic August 11-12th
The cost of the checking clinic is $150.00 for 2 skates

U13AAA Oilers Main camp
- Main Camp is INVITE ONLY
- Tryout tentative dates for guaranteed 3 skates: August 28 - Aug 30
- The Head Coach will be sending out invites to players for main camp.
- Committed players are encouraged to register for main camp to keep the competition level high. If you choose not to register you must register for the Green and White Game. Registration for the Green and White game will open on July 23rd. The fee is $200.00
Schedule- Please refer to the OOAA website for the camp schedules, which will be posted once finalized. Parents will be notified via email prior to the camp start date and evaluation with their players group number.
| ** IMPORTANT ** The OOAA is not hosting a U13AA team during the 2025-2026 season. Players that are interested in trying out for the Foothills Bisons U13AA based out of High River please follow the below steps.
Please complete Step 3 at the same time as step 1 and 2 if your player would like the opportunity to tryout for U13AA Bisons if they are not successful at the U13AAA tryout. Tentative dates for the Foothills Bisons Conditioning Camp is Aug 30-31, with Tryouts starting on Sept 3. Foothills will refund you for your U13AA tryout fees if your player is successful in making in the U13AAA roster. If your player makes the U13AA Bisons your OMHA registration fees will be refunded. If your player is released from Foothills they will be returned to OMHA for the U13 travel tryouts.

Draw Zone:
Female U13AA draw zone includes females that belong to Chestermere, East Wheatland, Foothills, High Country, Indus, Nanton, Okotoks, Rockyford, Sikiska and Strathmore. Players residing in Calgary must register with GHC.
OMHA registration and fees- Before you can register for OOAA Female U13AA conditioning camps or tryouts you must first register and pay your fees with OMHA U13 Female. Players that are successful in making the Female U13AA roster will have their OMHA registration fees minus the OMHA/OOAA hold back transferred to the team.
Committed U13AA Raider players MUST STILL register/pay with OMHA U13 Female
