registrations received after March 22nd will be subject to a late fee. Late registrations will be accepted if there is room in the tryout that the player is registered in. Late registrations are not guaranteed

Tryout Dates and Times / Team Assignments
- Division Schedules are posted on their corresponding Tab. Please see your division for the date & times.
- Team Assignments will be emailed via your division director as they come available
Additional Notes:
- Please read Spring Tryout Format for 2026-2027 memo : Spring Tryout Format Memo
- Players that attend the AAA Spring tryouts and do not get invited to the top 40 Green and White game can register for Spring AA tryouts.
- Player that attended the AAA Spring tryouts will receive a $100 discount on their Spring AA tryout fees
- Players that participate in the top 40 game will receive an exit interview following the game. During the exit interview players will receive tryout feed back and instructions regarding their next steps.
(These steps may include a commitment offer, an invite to main camp in August or be asked to register for the Spring AA tryout.) - Players that attend the Spring AA tryouts will have an opportunity to register for the last chance or open AAA tryout in August.
- Players that receive a AA commitment can still attend the AAA tryout in August to try and earn a AAA roster spot.
- No Refunds will be issued without a current valid Doctor's note.
Hockey Canada Insurance Information
Hockey Alberta requires players who were not registered within a Hockey Canada Program (did not play or played un-sanctioned) in the current season are not able to attend programs until they have purchased Hockey Canada Insurance.
If your player played on a un-sanctioned team during the 25-26 season (HSL, FSL, PHL, JPHL, USA hockey teams) Please use the link below to purchase your players insurance for the OOAA Spring tryouts. Once you have purchased the insurance please email admin@okotokshockey.com proof of purchase.
Players that have not submitted proof of insurance purchase will not be eligible to attend tryouts. Please note that there is no refunds for the tryout fee if you do not purchase the Hockey Canada Insurance.
