| The U18AAA/U17AAA Coaching staff will be inviting select players from the OPEN tryout to register for the Main tryout. Invites to main camp will be sent out by email. Please DO NOT register for Main camp unless your players has received an invite from the Head Coach following the 3 OPEN tryout games. If your player does not receive an emailed invite at the conclusion of the U18AAA/U17AAA Open tryout, please register for U18AA or U16AA with your designated association. | |
| IF SELECTED: | Players that are selected to tryout for the U17AAA/U18AAA Main Camp tryout based on their showing in the open tryouts will be invited by the U17AAA/U18AAA coaching staff. If your player has been invited then you register with OOAA U17AAA/U18AAA tryouts. |
| IF RELEASED (Okotoks): | *If released, Okotoks players can choose to register for the U16AA/U18AA Combined tryout, or if they prefer to be on a team with only 2010's, they can register for the U16AA tryouts. |
| IF RELEASED (Non-Okotoks): | Non-Okotoks 2010 Players, if released from U17AAA/U18AAA can register for the U16AA Tryouts (this team is made up of players from Okotoks, Foothills, Vulcan, and High Country players), or return to their home association to register for their U18AA team. |
Important Information:
1.Absences/ Injuries
- Injured players that cannot participate in the tryouts can submit a Dr note to be placed on the injured list.
- PLAYERS LISTED ON THE INJURED LIST ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE SELECTED TO A TEAM EVEN WITHOUT A TRYOUT
- Players that are away attending a provincial or national sporting event can submit a special request to be placed on the Away at Provincial/National list.
2. AJHL Main Camp or WHL Prospects Camp attendees:
Any player that is attending an AJHL team main camp or a WHL prospects camp during the SAME time as the OPEN U17AAA/U18AAA tryout must still register and pay for this tryout. Please email the division director your player's camp schedule, and a refund will be issued to you at that time.
Players attending AJHL and WHL camps still need to be registered in order to track them, and for the coaches to know that they may still report to main camp.

3.NECK GUARDS ARE MANDATORY, NO EXCEPTIONS. Face masks must be worn appropriately.
