All registration fees are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.
Any additional questions can be forwarded to your Division Director (Found in the Board of Directors section within the "about us" tab, or on each team's homepage)
* Refunds due to injury or illness will require a note from a physician.
**Registrations after the July 24th closing date require approval from the division director, and will have a $100 late fee applied.

U18AAA/U17AAA OPEN tryout:
The "1st year U17AAA/U18AAA tryout" is being replaced with a U18AAA/U17AAA OPEN tryout. Please refer to the details below regarding which tryout to register your player for.
U18AAA/U17AAA OPEN Tryout- 3 games
Cost: $315.00
Dates: August 23, 24 and 25th
| Please register for the U18AAA /U17AAA Open tryout if during the 2023-2024 season your player falls within the below criteria: Unsigned U15AAA Players U15AA Okotoks, Foothills, Wheatland players U15 CSSHL Players U16AA Okotoks, Foothills, Wheatland players 2009, 2008, 2007 OMHA, Foothills minor hockey, Chestermere minor hockey, Strathmore minor hockey players (CAHL/RHL) 2009, 2008, 2007 HSL players 2009, 2008, 2007 PHL players 2009, 2008, 2007 JPHL players |
| * If you are NEW to the draw zone and did not play in one of the leagues listed above please email Lindsay Graw at admin@okotokshockey.com with your players Name, DOB, Address, Position and the team they played for in the 2023-2024 season. |
| AJHL Main Camp or WHL Prospects Camp attendees: Any player that is attending an AJHL team main camp or a WHL prospects camp during the SAME time as the OPEN U17AAA/U18AAA tryout must still register and pay for this tryout. Please email the division director your player's camp schedule, and a refund will be issued to you at that time. Players attending AJHL and WHL camps still need to be registered in order to track them, and for the coaches to know that they may still report to main camp. | The U18AAA/U17AAA Coaching staff will be inviting select players from the OPEN tryout to register for the Main tryout.
Please DO NOT register for Main camp unless your players has received an invite from the Head Coach following the 3 OPEN tryout games. Invites to main camp will be sent out by email.
If your player does not receive an emailed invite at the conclusion of the U18AAA/U17AAA Open tryout, please register for U18AA or U16AA with your designated association. |

Select players will be invited to participate in the Green and White game. Players not selected for the Green and White game will either go directly to the U17AAA tryouts, or be asked to register in the U18AA and U16AA tryouts for their area. |

OOAA U18AA/U16AA Combined tryouts FIRST 3 SKATES
Okotoks 2009 born players can choose to register for the U18AA/U16AA combined tryout if they want to try for the U18AA team. If they are not interested in trying out for U18AA, they can skip this tryout and register for U16AA as their first tryout
Foothills and High Country 2009 born players can ONLY register for the U16AA tryout in Okotoks
U18AA/U16AA Combined tryout: Sept 15 - 17
Only Okotoks 2007/2008/2009 players are eligible to register for the U18AA/U16AA tryouts
- The cost of the tryouts is $315.00 (Includes a minimum 3 skates, jersey provided, referees, Athletic Trainers)
After the 3 skates there will be potential releases:
- 2007/2008/2009 born players that are released will participate in the OMHA travel evaluations that you registered for.

U16AA OILERS
OOAA U16AA tryouts (Okotoks, Foothills, High Country - 2009 born players only):
- Tryout dates: U16AA Oilers - Sept 19 - 23
- 2009 born players that do not wish to tryout for U17AAA/U18AAA can register for U16AA
- If your player is registered for the U17AAA/U18AAA 1st year tryout: DO NOT register for U16AA unless they have been released.
- The cost of the U16AA tryout is $315.00 (Includes a minimum 3 skates, jersey provided, referees)

U15AAA OPEN Tryout- 3 games
Cost: $300.00
Dates: August 21, 22, 24th

| The U15AAA Coaching staff will be inviting select players from the OPEN tryout to register for the Main tryout.
Please DO NOT register for Main camp unless your player has received an invite from the Head Coach following the 3 OPEN tryout games. Invites to main camp will be sent out by email. The main camp registration fees for the players coming from the OPEN tryout is $200.00

U15AAA Main Camp Tryout:

| At the conclusion of the 3 main camp tryout games, players will either be released to U15AA or be invited to the Green and White game.
Players invited to the green and white game will have a practice on August 28th, followed by the game on August 29th.
At the conclusion of the green and white game, players will be either invited to register for the oversized roster, or released to U15AA. Released players will be required to register for the U15AA tryout at that time.
Players selected to the oversized tournament roster will be required to register via RAMP for the team formation fees. These fees cover the cost of all ice time including practices and tournament games prior to the final roster being selected. |

U15AA OILERS
Draw Zone:
The U15AA draw zone is for Okotoks Minor Hockey players only.
The U15AAA draw zone includes Blackie, Chestermere, High Country, Hussar, Foothills, Indus, Nanton, Okotoks, Rockyford, Siksika, Strathmore, Standard, and Vulcan.
OMHA registration and fees- Okotoks players before you can register for OOAA camps and tryouts you must first register and pay your fees with OMHA U15 Mixed.
Players that are successful in making the U15AA roster will have their OMHA registration fees minus the OMHA/OOAA hold back transferred to the team.
Players that are successful in making the U15AAA roster will have their OMHA registration fees refunded and the team will be invoiced by OMHA and OOAA for the team fees.
The reason for the different way of paying the fees is because U15AA has only Okotoks players and U15AAA is a draw zone team that does not have only Okotoks players. The team fees are the same for AA as they are for AAA.
Conditioning camp
Conditioning camp tentative dates: U15AA/AAA- August 12-13th (includes checking)
OOAA 2010 Checking clinic
- The cost of the checking clinic is $150.00 for 2 skates
OOAA U15AAA/AA Conditioning Camp:
- The cost of the conditioning camp is $250.00 (includes 4 skates, no jersey)
*You do not have to register for both the camp and tryouts. You can register for just the camp or just the tryout if you wish*
OOAA U15AA tryouts:
- 20010/2011 born players that do not wish to tryout for U15AAA can register for U15AA
You do not need to participate in the U15AAA Open tryout or U15AAA Main Camp tryout to be eligible to tryout for U15AA.
- If your player is registered for the U15AAA tryout. DO NOT register for U15AA unless they have been released.
- Tryout tentative dates for guaranteed 3 skates -U15AA Oilers- August 31-September 3rd
- The cost of the U15AA tryout is $300.00 (Includes minimum 3 skates, jersey provided, referees, Athletic Trainers)

U13AA RAIDERS (2012-2013 BORN PLAYERS)
U13AA RAIDERS
Draw Zone:
Female U13AA draw zone is open to females that belong to an association that does not have a female program. Players residing in Calgary must register with GHC.
OMHA registration and fees- Before you can register for OOAA Female U13AA conditioning camps or tryouts you must first register and pay your fees with OMHA U13 Female. Players that are successful in making the Female U13AA roster will have their OMHA registration fees minus the OMHA/OOAA hold back transferred to the team.
Okotoks U13 female players have 2 options for tryouts. You can choose to tryout for the U13AA Mixed team or the female U13AA team. If you decide to tryout for the U13AA mixed team please DO NOT register for the U13AA female tryouts until you have been released from U13AA Mixed.
Non- Okotoks U13 female players can only register for the Female U13AA team. If you wish to tryout for U13AA you must tryout in your designated draw zone U13AA team.
Non-Okotoks females must be registered with OMHA U13 female and have your player movement form completed and approved by Hockey Alberta prior to the first tryout skate.
*You do not have to register for both the camp and tryouts. You can register for just the camp or just the tryout if you wish*
U13AA Female Conditioning Camp
- You can register for the U13AA Female CC
- ONLY register for the U13AA mixed camp if you are trying out for the U13AA mixed tryouts.
