Female Hockey Scholarships Fund
Building a legacy for female hockey players in Alberta
The Teammates Helping Teammates initiative is aimed at getting female hockey teams (AFHL) throughout the province to support the creation and fundraising efforts to launch a Female Hockey Scholarship program.
The Female Hockey Scholarship fund will aim to provide scholarships to deserving AFHL players each year. The amount and number of scholarships will be determined each year based on funds raised and/or donated to the fund. The goal will be to grow the principal amount to where interest will cover future scholarships for athletes.
Female hockey teams across Alberta are coming together to raise funds for the Female Hockey Scholarship Program—and YOU can be part of it!
Every ticket sold helps fund 10 scholarships and builds a lasting legacy for female hockey players in Alberta!
