The Okotoks Oilers Athletic Association is pleased to announce the 2024/25 Player Agreements for U18 AAA Rocky Mountain Raiders:
Ella Simard:
Previous Team: U15 AA Rocky Mountain Raiders AFHL
Birth year: 2009
2023/24 Stats: GP 31 G 33 A 24 PTS 57
Reason for being selected: Ella has proven herself to be the complete package coming out of u15. She is absolutely electric in the offensive zone; sees the ice and teammates at all times; has an already elite level shot and release; and is tenacious in all of her battles around the puck. We are incredibly excited to see Ella wear the AAA Raiders jersey!
Anna Kapocsi:
Previous Team: OHA U18 Prep CSSHL
Birth year: 2007
2023/24 Stats: GP30 G 7 A 12 PTS 19
Reason for being selected: Anna brings an absolutely fierce competitive drive, matched only by her desire for development. She is a complete 200 foot player who has fantastic offensive instincts; incredible net front player with amazing shooting mechanics; and is extremely hard to play against on the D-side. We are extremely happy to have Anna join the Raiders program!
Brooke Dyck:
Previous Team: Taber Golden Suns U15AA SCAHL
Birth year: 2009
2023/24 Stats: GP29 G 5 A 11 Pts 16
Reason for being selected: Brooke is the definition of tenacity. She plays the game with one gear both with and without the puck; she hunts on the forecheck with precision; plays way above her size in battles and ability to keep pucks alive; and has the skill to strike at any moment with the puck on her stick. We are extremely happy to welcome Brooke to the Raiders program!
Gracie Dengler:
Previous Team: U15 AA Rocky Mountain Raiders AFHL
Birth year: 2009
2023/24 Stats: GP30 G 6 A18 PTS 24
Reason for being selected: Gracie has an absolutely electric motor, matched only by her tenacity and compete. She can make opponents miss both with her edgework and dynamic blade; reads the game extremely well and has amazing instincts on both sides of the puck; and has proven she can play at an elite level up and down the lineup. We can’t wait to have Gracie in a AAA Raiders jersey!
Sophia El Hage:
Previous Team: U15 AA Rocky Mountain Raiders AFHL
Birth year: 2009
2023/24 Stats: GP31 G 3 A12 PTS 15
Reason for being selected: Sophia brings an incredible IQ and feel for the game who has proven to be everything a coach could want on their blueline. She has a fantastic motor out of the zone and can make players miss; ability to close gaps extremely well and not afraid to eliminate players in her battles; and loves to continue in the rush and be a part of the attack off of her first pass. We are extremely excited to have Sophia in a AAA Raiders jersey.
